Leadership
Alex Bullock, PLA Founder + Principal
Alex is the founding principal of Duncan Field + Form. His childhood on a farm in rural Vermont impressed on him that practicality and resilience must balance our creative endeavors. That balance has lead to beautiful work, durable work, and award winning work.
Alex wears many hats with comfort due to a rich professional history ranging from time as a licensed Sommelier to a Business Research Associate. These professional efforts now contribute to his work in Landscape Architecture in the form of organization, communication, and diligence. Past projects include urban parks, stormwater management systems, campus design, riparian corridors, plazas, roadways, and mixed-use developments. A more recent addition to his portfolio of public and civic work is high end private residential landscapes.
A graduate of the University of Colorado Denver's Master’s of Landscape Architecture program, Alex is a licensed Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) committed to collaborative processes, environmental stewardship, and client-focused solutions. His approachable style and attention to detail make him a trusted partner for clients seeking enduring, powerful designs.
